Festival of Sails Easter 2013

This colourful, seaside carnival winds along the Redcliffe foreshore from the Youth Park at Suttons Beach, to the Redcliffe Surf Club.
The festival is held in conjunction with the annual Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race which provides a spectacular backdrop to the day. Yachts set sail from Shorncliffe at 11am and come into view at Suttons Beach by 11.30am. Festival of Sails boasts up to 140 quality art, craft and food stalls, live music, roving entertainment, an Easter egg hunt on the beach sponsored by Bluewater Square Shopping Centre, parachuting Easter Bunny (weather permitting), fun workshops, kite making, beach games, a giant sand sculpture and sand sculpting workshops, the Great Lego Building Challenge, bungy trampoline and rock wall, animal farm, pony and camel rides and much, much more. A free and regular shuttle service operates from Redcliffe Showgrounds to the festival site.

Free continuous shuttle bus and parking from Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Rd, Redcliffe to Marine Parade (above festival site). From 8.30am to 5pm.
